Setting the early pace for two days of musical excellence, the Lehman High School Concert Band scored its historic first-ever Sweepstakes win in the annual UIL Concert and Sight-Reading competition held recently at the HCISD Performing Arts Center. Directed by Johnnie Green, the Lobos received a three-judge score of 1-2-1 for a final first division in Concert, then pulled a unanimous three-judge decision of 1's in Sight-Reading. Congratulations to the Concert Band for setting a new standard at Lehman. (see a photo by Jim Cullen)
